Dear Members and Spiritual Advisors,
As the light of Christ’s birth illuminates this holy season, I extend my heartfelt greetings to each of you on behalf of the Hamilton Diocesan Council of the Catholic Women’s League of Canada. This year has been a remarkable journey of faith, service, and community.
As we prepare to celebrate the joyous birth of Christ, we are reminded of the hope, peace, and love that His coming brings into our lives. This holy season calls us to be lights in the world, sharing God’s love with everyone we meet. Together, let us embrace the Jubilee Year of Hope, living our faith through service, and joy, and Sparkle God’s way by radiating Christ’s light in all we do.
Let us walk in the light of our Lord, remembering that His coming brings light into darkness and hope into every heart. This Christmas, I encourage you to take time to cherish the gifts of family, friendship, and faith. Rejoice in the many blessings from our God and continue to share these blessings with others, especially those who may feel forgotten or in need of encouragement, friendship, or comfort.
Looking forward to the New Year, may we carry the hope of Christ and extend it to others. Together, let us renew our commitment to modeling vibrant faith-filled councils, that truly radiates the joy and peace of Christ. As women servant leaders of faith, and/or as Spiritual Advisors, may we continue to support one another with love and dignity, guided by our Catholic values and the inspiring example of our model Servant, Lord Jesus Christ and His Blessed Mother, our Patroness, Our Lady of Good Counsel.
