2020 and 2021 Annual General Meetings
Plans are underway for a restricted annual general meeting that will include voting members (parish council Presidents), parish accredited delegates and officers of the Hamilton Diocesan team. Spiritual Advisors will receive invitation to attend if space permits. This event will replace the annual diocesan convention.
The tentative date for the event is May 29, 2021. It is envisioned that both meetings will take place on that one day. The agenda for each annual meeting, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, will be reduced to allow for extra time related to physical distancing and cleaning protocols. A tentative agenda will be circulated to those registered.
A form is included with this letter to record contact information for those who expect to attend as the voting and accredited delegates from each parish council (find the form here). Personal invitations will be sent to these people. Replies will be mandatory, and entrance to the meeting will be restricted to those members who have replied.
With the current restrictions in place, it is not possible to confirm where the event will take place but it is assumed it will be a covered, outdoor venue. Actual attendance will rely upon gathering restrictions at that time and the capacity at the venue. Further information will be forwarded as soon as it is available.
It is imperative that the completed form be submitted by February 20, 2021 to [email protected].
Respectfully,
